في عيادة بابا

نورة بنت صغيرة تحب البطيخ كثيرًا، وترفض أن تأكل طعامًا غيره. ماذا سيحصل عندما تجد نورة يطيخة كبيرة على طاولة المطبخ؟

Watermelon is Noura’s favorite food. One day she hides a big watermelon under her bed so she can eat it all by herself after everybody goes to bed. Something very strange happens in the middle of the night. The watermelon gets bigger and bigger and bigger….

لدى والد سامية عمل مهمّ يقوم به. ففي كل عام، وفي شهر رمضان، يوقظ سكان القرية قبل الفجر لتناول وجبة االسحور استعدادًا لصيام نهار اليوم التالي. ولكن في هذا العام، يمرض والد سامية فجأة، لذا تقترح سامية عليه أن تحلّ محلّه. لابدّ أن تكون سامية شجاعة للقيام بهذه المهمة وحدها في الليل. عليها أن تقرع الطبلة بصوت عالٍ وتدعو الناس إلى الاستيقاظ. لحسن حظها، سينضم إليها قريبًا حمزة وفاطمة وأطفال القرية الآخرين الّذين سيحضر كل منهم آلة موسيقية خاصّة به حتّى إن بعضهم سيحضرون القدور والمقالي! يشكّل الأطفال فرقة موسيقيّة جميلة تجوب شوارع القرية.

قصّة مؤثّرة تتضمن قيمًا كالشّجاعة والتضامن وتظهر بعض العادات الأصيلة. “ما المانع؟” ستنقل القارئ إلى قرية لفتا السّاحرة في فلسطين في ثلاثينيّات القرن العشرين

Samia’s dad has an important job to do. Every Ramadan he wakes the people of the village up before dawn to have a meal before fasting for the day. This year however, Samia’s dad is ill so Samia offers to take his place. Samia needs to be brave to do this job at night. She must bang the drum loudly and call out for people to wake up. Luckily and to her surprise she is soon joined by Hamza, Fatima and other children of the village who each bring their own musical instrument and even some pots and pans! The children create a lovely band and the villagers are delighted to greet them.

قصة مشوقة تشد الطفل وتساعده على مواجهة مخاوفه من المجهول. تحكي عن صبي اسمه حسن يقرر أن يكتشف بنفسه حقيقة الغول الذي يرعب أهل القرية. فيتبين له أن الغول يخاف من أهل القرية كما كانوا يخافونه.

يقضي جاد وتالا يومهما في اللعب في المنزل بسبب المطر في الخارج. وفي الّليل، يشتدّ الرّعد ويلمع البرق.
تخاف تالا وتذهب إلى غرفة جاد لتنام عنده. إلّا أنّ صوت الرّعد يشتدّ ولمعان البرق يصبح أقوى، فهل سيتمكّن الاثنان من العودة إلى النّوم مرة أخرى؟ وماذا سيفعل بابا وماما لمساعدتهما؟

Jad and Tala spend the day playing indoors because of the rain outside. That night the storm gets worse. Tala is scared and rushes to Jad’s room to sleep in his bed. Jad comforts her but when the thunder rumbles and roars louder and the lightning flashes brighter both Jad and Tala rush to their parents’ room. Will they be able to go back to sleep again?

. تقترح ماما على ماجد ٔان يقضي النهار مع جدته، لأنها ستكون في مٔوتمر. يفرح ماجد كثيرا ، فهو يحب أن يزور “تيتا نفيسة” ، لأن بيتها مليء بالأشياء المثيرة والغريبة التي تسمح له باستكشافها. قصة “جدتي نفيسة” تحكي عن يوم ممتع ومليء بالأحداث، يقضيه ماجد مع جدته الفنانة والتي كما يعتقد ماجد … ليست ككل الجدات!

Majid’s mother suggests to him to spend the day at his Grandma’s house, because she’s going to be busy at a conference all day. Majed gets really excited, he loves going to “Teta Nafeesa’s” house because Grandma Nafeesa is not your typical Grandma. She is an artist and an active Grandma and Majed has to work hard to keep up with her!
