. سيفو طفل صغير يقرّر القيام بمغامرة خياليّة مثيرة؛ حيث يلتقي ويتفاعل مع الحيوانات المرسومة على لوحة جداريّة في غرفته. قصّة “في غرفة سيفو غابة” مليئة بالفكاهة والإثارة، فيها سجع وموسيقى وقافية تشجّع الطّفل على العدّ والتعرّف على الأرقام من خلال ملصقات خاصّة داخل الكتاب.

A little boy sets out on an exciting imaginary adventure where he meets and interacts with the animals on the wall mural in his room. On each spread he meets a different set of animals and has fun with them. The child reader is encouraged to count the animals he sees on each spread. He/she can then choose the correct numeral sticker (attached to the book) to stick in its assigned space. The story line is full of action and humor and written in rhyme.

لدى والد سامية عمل مهمّ يقوم به. ففي كل عام، وفي شهر رمضان، يوقظ سكان القرية قبل الفجر لتناول وجبة االسحور استعدادًا لصيام نهار اليوم التالي. ولكن في هذا العام، يمرض والد سامية فجأة، لذا تقترح سامية عليه أن تحلّ محلّه. لابدّ أن تكون سامية شجاعة للقيام بهذه المهمة وحدها في الليل. عليها أن تقرع الطبلة بصوت عالٍ وتدعو الناس إلى الاستيقاظ. لحسن حظها، سينضم إليها قريبًا حمزة وفاطمة وأطفال القرية الآخرين الّذين سيحضر كل منهم آلة موسيقية خاصّة به حتّى إن بعضهم سيحضرون القدور والمقالي! يشكّل الأطفال فرقة موسيقيّة جميلة تجوب شوارع القرية.

قصّة مؤثّرة تتضمن قيمًا كالشّجاعة والتضامن وتظهر بعض العادات الأصيلة. “ما المانع؟” ستنقل القارئ إلى قرية لفتا السّاحرة في فلسطين في ثلاثينيّات القرن العشرين

Samia’s dad has an important job to do. Every Ramadan he wakes the people of the village up before dawn to have a meal before fasting for the day. This year however, Samia’s dad is ill so Samia offers to take his place. Samia needs to be brave to do this job at night. She must bang the drum loudly and call out for people to wake up. Luckily and to her surprise she is soon joined by Hamza, Fatima and other children of the village who each bring their own musical instrument and even some pots and pans! The children create a lovely band and the villagers are delighted to greet them.
